Welcome to October and Cyber Security Awareness Month! This is a great opportunity for all Australians to take simple, proactive steps to improve their online safety. For helpful resources and tips, visit:

As we enter the final quarter of the year, it's the perfect time to reflect on your IT setup and plan ahead. Whether it is upgrading aging systems, tightening security or exploring new tools, now is the time to get proactive.

Our partners at Manage Protect are organising an online webinar on "Understanding Copilot Agents" on 14/10 at 1:30PM. Out and About

Last month was training time for Paul and Stefan, while Bevin had a drive to visit some clients in country SA. Check out the photos below to see further details.

During October, we have the following planned:

Unifi World Conference at the ICC in Sydney. During the conference and training we will further strengthen our knowledge around networking and security.
SMBiT Professionals National Conference. Over two conference days and 1 pre day, Stefan and Fahim will take their knowledge to the next level in all things IT including security and cloud computing, while also touching base with our colleagues and vendors. David is a board member of SMBiT Professionals and as in previous years will be helping to run the conference.


	Bevin hit the road to Whyalla last month to catch up with three of our awesome clients in the area.

	We are proud to announce that two of our talented technicians, Stefan and Paul, have officially completed their Ubiquiti UniFi certifications, including: UWA (UniFi Wireless Admin), URSCA (UniFi Routing & Switching Specialist) and UFSP (UniFi Full Stack Professional). These certifications, together with their Cisco network certifications, reflect their deep technical knowledge and hands-on expertise from wireless and routing to switching and security. At DP Computing, we're committed to delivering cutting-edge network and security solutions With certified pros like Stefan and Paul on the team, you can trust us to design, deploy and support robust, scalable networks for any environment.

	Our data cabler Ben, installed a Starlink system for a client in Underdale who was facing delays with their NBN connection. With Starlink now online, they now have fast and reliable internet access without the wait!

	Our techs, Zee and Rebecca, have been hard at work installing over 100 monitors in this modern office space! Each workstation is now equipped with sleek, high-resolution screens designed to boost productivity and deliver a seamless user experience.

	With Windows 10 support ending on October 14th, we're helping businesses by rolling out new systems to new and current clients. This is part of a broader upgrade initiative for organisations both small and large, helping them stay secure and up to date. This week, our team is deploying 15 Leader Corporate Mini PCs to one of our clients. If you're still running Windows 10, now is the time to act. After October 14th, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, leaving your systems vulnerable. Need help upgrading? Get in touch and we'll make the transition smooth and secure.
